Why was DailyRupee built?

Most small lenders in India still run on notebooks, diaries and Excel sheets. Agents write entries on the road, the office copies them again at night, and owners only see real overdue figures at month end. Software built for banks is too heavy and too expensive for a business with five agents and a few hundred customers.

DailyRupee was built for that gap: one simple app where the agent taps Pay EMI, the customer gets a WhatsApp receipt, and the owner sees collected, pending and overdue amounts the moment they change.

What does DailyRupee do?

• Pigmy (daily savings) accounts with deposits, withdrawals and passbooks.
• Customer KYC with masked Aadhaar, PAN, documents and signatures captured on the phone.

• Reports for collections, overdue, outstanding, disbursements, agent performance and profit & loss.
