WhatsApp payment reminders for loan customers

DailyRupee builds WhatsApp reminders for due, overdue and promised payments. Tap the WhatsApp button and WhatsApp opens with a prefilled message in the customer's preferred language; you review it and send it yourself. It is not an automatic bulk-sending service. Receipts can be shared the same way.

How do WhatsApp reminders work in DailyRupee?

Choose a customer and tap the WhatsApp button. DailyRupee fills a message from a template, and WhatsApp opens with that message prefilled. The person using the app reviews it and sends it from their own WhatsApp.

DailyRupee does not send messages automatically in bulk through a WhatsApp API. Each reminder is sent by a staff member, which keeps the tone personal and puts the staff member in control.

Which reminders can I send?

Templates exist for payments that are due, payments that are overdue, and payments the customer has promised. A promise to pay recorded with a date and amount during a visit can then be followed up using the follow-up list.

  • Due payment reminder
  • Overdue payment reminder
  • Promised payment reminder
  • Receipt sharing

Why does the customer's language matter?

A reminder is more likely to be understood when it is in the language the customer reads. DailyRupee builds each message in that customer's preferred language, from English to Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali or Gujarati.

Keep reminders polite and respectful, and follow RBI guidelines and your state's Money-Lenders Act on how and when customers may be contacted.
